Catch Can Set for VAG 2.0 TFSI Transverse Engines 

This system was developed by HF-Series to ensure the longevity of your engine.


Boost your engine performance and longevity with a HF-Series Catch Can Set.

Despite the diversion of oil and water vapors into the Catch Can, the emission values ?? (Euro norm) continue to be met. In addition, the installation of the system, the combustion is cleaner.

The oil and water vapors are routed regularly into the intake bridge, where they are ignited and discharged after entering the combustion chamber in combination with the fuel / air mixture.

 

The direct injection system of the TSI models eliminates the need to flush the cylinder heads and valves with fuel. This means that the regular fuel used for cleaning is missing because it is injected directly into the combustion chamber.

Thus, fouling due to the exhaust gas recirculation in conjunction with the oil and water vapors from the crankcase ventilation massively build up. These are deposited on the chambers of the cylinder heads and on the valves.

By these deposits, the material surface is rough, the air guide cross-sections narrow and there is neither an optimal Luftverwirbelung, nor an optimal cylinder filling.

The consequences are worse emissions, power losses and higher consumption.


In the advanced stage, even the valve train is disturbed by these deposits, so that the valves sometimes no longer close and thus there is no compression on the affected cylinders, which leads to misfiring. In the worst case, this can lead to engine damage.

The HF-Series Catch Can Set will solve this problem once and for all.

 

Notes:

The catch can system also fits with OEM intake / engine cover.

The standard pipe to the noise amplifier must be removed!

Cannot be mounted in conjunction with the standard noise amplifier.
For vehicles without noise amplifier, please select the holder for the catch tank in the options.
