PCV FIX Valve VAG 2,0 TFSI in black by HF-Series

The HF-Series PCV Fix has a closure plate for the connection of the original PCV valve and a closure cap for the intake manifold. It serves to avoid loosing boost pressure, which occur due to frequent defects of the OEM component.
The PCV Fix is made of corrosion-resistant aluminum, then black anodized and supplied complete with O-rings and screws.

In addition, an adapter to tap off boost pressure or negative pressure is included in the set: eg. for a boost pressure display or the connection of a valve control of the exhaust system.

This article has an approval and is free of registration.

Fits with the OEM Intake / engine cover and all available Upgrade-intakes.

Description:

The crankcase ventilation (1) is connected to the valve cover (2), exactly where the standard valve (3) is installed. The PCV valve (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) has a connection (4) to the intake manifold (5).

This valve opens while vacuum.

3.


At superatmospheric pressure it closes, so that no boost pressure can escape from the intake manifold.

This is precisely the problem. The membrane of the original part tends to tear. Thus escapes boost pressure from the intake manifold and it comes to the power loss.

To avoid this, it closes with the PCV-FIX set the connection on the valve cover (1) and to the intake manifold (2).
The crankcase breather gases are further fed via the suction circulation.
